The Route
The Rhins of Galloway Coast Path is an 83-mile circular walking route along which you will experience the stunning scenery of Scotland’s south west coast. From the windswept cliffs of the Mull of Galloway to the sheltered waters of Loch Ryan you can explore the wildlife and history of an unforgettable coastline on this magical peninsula.
Route Sections
Our ranger team has divided the route up into six sections. These sections are designed to be manageable in a single day, though some are shorter than others. Each section has unique features, and can be very different from one another. Discover more about each section below.
