Taking a Tour with Tom

Published by James at January 31, 2023

Tom, our intrepid Southern Upland Way Ranger, has been walking the Rhins Coast path at Ardwell Bay. Join him on his visit to the Iron Age fortifications at Doon Castle Broch, one of the most significant prehistoric settlements on the Rhins. The clearance of rubble at the northern entranceway draws visitors into the circular space making the unique structure of the monument easily visible.
