Luce Mains cleared

Published by Andy at March 31, 2021

The fallen tree blocking the gate at Luce Mains (between Hoddom Bridge and Brydekirk) is now cleared. This stretch is a pleasant riverside walk but inevitably, after recent weather, there will still be a few wet or muddy patches – be prepared. There are sheep and lambs and oyster catchers and other ground nesting birds along the way at springtime, so please keep any dogs under close control and, if you are not absolutely sure of being able to recall them whatever the distraction, keep them on a lead. Remember leads can fail and if you have not already done so consider stock avoidance training.
