The Three Marches of the Southern Upland Way

Due to harvesting operations the section of the Southern Upland Way alongside Loch Trool is being closed from the 10th November to the 15th December 2025. This may be extended depending on weather conditions over the next month.
A diversion is in place taking you around the other side of the loch as shown in the map below. Please follow all signs on site.
