Greskine near Rivox, Beattock

Published by Ross at March 10, 2020

Forestry work will take place either side of the Southern Upland Way near the bottom of Mount Joe in Greskine Forest. The path will not be diverted here, but banksmen will help anyone through during their working hours if they are felling close to the path. There will also be a ramp to climb over, which is there to protect the path when machinery crosses.

The job is being managed by Euroforest and they should be finished by the end of May 2020. They have said they will ask their contractors not to work on the weekend of the Ultra 50 and 100 marathon so that there are no hold ups to the race.
